Here at Horcott Lakes our Professional Angling Coaches are here to pass on there wealth of knowledge to you. Our coaches have worked in the angling industry for many years, fishing some of the toughest & best lakes in the UK & abroad. 

They have caught some of the trickiest Carp to catch & love nothing more than passing these skills on, to make you as successful as they have been over the years. 

Our fully sponsored anglers have spent many years in & out of the angling media, writing for some of the biggest magazines for over ten years. They have got to where they are now through hard work & determination, consistently putting Carp on the bank. 

Its very easy to get tangled up with different rigs, baits etc, but we will show you what really works!!

On special request we can cover the use of using a rowing boat, showing you exactly what your looking for on the bottom of the lake bed, holding areas & most importantly, why?

All our lessons are hands on, with everything explained in a clear and concise manner. 

WHEN & WHERE

These courses are ran at the stunning Horcott Lakes in Gloucestershire.

These are the perfect venues to prefect new skills, be it fishing in weed, finding the fish or long range casting, these lakes have every scenario covered for your future fishing that you may come across.  

Horcott holds lots of Carp, lots of twenties, a large head of upper twenties, thirties to over forty pound. So as you can see your in with a very good chance of catching with our Professional Coaches.

STARTER PACKAGE

We offer a starter package at Horcott Lakes . So if you feel like you don’t need a full on tutorial this is ideal to be ahead of the game & other anglers. 

This is a two hour low down on the fishery, with hints & tips from one of our members of staff.

You will have a meet & greet on arrival, met with a nice hot brew of your choice.

You will receive a map of the lake from your guide who will walk the fishery with you, showing you each & every swim, explaining where the clear areas, silt pockets & hot spots are. He will also put you on fish in the right area for the conditions for the duration of your stay.

Once back at the car park your angling coach will run through a rig or two, show you how to tie them up & what is working at the given time.

You will also be given 5kg of particle for you session along with a free day ticket for the day of your arrival.
